After 6 years, I finally had the chance to go back to Sagada. A lot has changed. There were more houses and commercial establishments in the municipal center to cater to the growing number of tourists... but for some reason, the charm of SAGADA did not fade...

Day 1 to Day 4 of Travel Factor CONQUER SAGADA April 2010

Day 1: April 1, 2010: Arrival at Banaue. Banaue Rice Terraces. Sagada by lunch time. Free afternoon. Food Trip
Day 2: Sunrise at Kiltepan Viewpoint. Hike Banga-an Rice Terraces to Bomod-ok Falls. Sunset at Lake Danum. Food Trip
Day 3: Cave connection: Enter Lumiang Burial Cave - Exit Sumaguing Cave (5-7 hour spelunking). Food Trip
Day 4: Tour of the town center. Hike at Echo Valley. Sagada hanging coffins. Rock climbing (sort of). Food Trip. Departure to Manila.

ReplyDeleteausieBum38, its safe, its only the spelunking that is risky, but i think its really up to you.. if you're fit, you'll have no trouble completing it. if you dont want to go the whole nine yards, you can choose to enter from the Sumaguing cave and exit the same way... its the entry and trek from the Lumiang cave that is challenging.. have fun here in our country..
